Holiday spirits

We had our holiday party at work on Thursday.  It wasn't nearly as entertaining as the one in the cartoon, just a fairly low-key lunch where the strongest beverage served was coffee.

    Back in the good old days we had really good party's. One place in particular was really great, the boss treated us to dinner at the best steak house in the area with all we wanted to drink and gave us our bonus checks that was always over a thousand bucks.

    I sure do miss the good old days.

    Nan, I guess you guys were appropriately subdued considering the fact that any extravagance might bring down the whole government.

    I sent this to my husband, the employment lawyer. Hope he gets a laugh because he certainly hasn't gotten any clients in the last couple of months...
