  1. Every time I see this cartoon I think of what Elaine said to Jerry on Seinfeld - "Everything you know about high culture comes from Bugs Bunny cartoons." It funny because it's true.

  2. You are so welcome. I don't care what we were doing - tying my brother to the woodstove or perming the cat's hair - we stopped everything when this particular cartoon came on.

  4. Sometimes I think Mel Blanc was the greatest performing genius America has produced. No matter who was directing- Chuck Jones, Tex Avery, Bob Clampett, anyone- his voice work and Carl Stallings' music lifted the classic Warner Brothers cartoons above anything else in the genre.
