Happy Birthday, Nerf

The drum corps years . . .  

[I hesitated before using this photo.  My sister is going to look at it and flinch.  Not because it's a picture of her in high school, but because the intervals are so far off in that rifle line. She was (and still is) a drum and bugle corps fanatic.]

    I got lucky when I was in Navy boot camp, the company commander of the company I was in didn't take all the marching and drills very serious.

    Some company's where always doing extra marching, even being broke out in the night to do it. Pffff.
