Life list grows

Little River Canyon National Preserve.

One of the newer units in the National Park system. More photos and thoughts when I've had a chance to do a thorough sort through the pictures.

  1. Did you drive the rim road? How did you like it?

  2. The rim road was. . . let us say "interesting." The section with the overlooks was typical scenic drive, well-paved and definitely two lanes, but once we got on to the section leading down to the Canyon Mouth picnic area the road got a whole lot narrower and our brakes got quite a workout. Lots of parking at all but one overlook, which was nice.

I'm still hoping to do a longer post later this week that will include more photos.
